1 - Participation is only valid after payment of registration fee.
2 - In case of non-participation, for whatever the reason, the participant may not claim reimbursement of the registration fee.
3 - Participants wishing to submit, at an event, the inclusion of someone else (replacing the main entrant) will pay on the spot € 4 administration fee.
This also applies to participants who wish to change places on the day of the event. If the new distance they have chosen requires a supplement, it will also be charged.
4 - If the event can not take place because of exceptional circumstances, the participant can register for free to the next edition of the same event. The organizer can not be compelled to refund the registration fee if the event can not take place.
5 - Participation requires good health. The participant states satisfy this condition. The organization recommends that before any participation, a preventive medical examination from a recognized sports doctor.
6 - The bib must be worn visibly during the entire duration of the competition.
7 - Bicycles, motorized rollerblades and which are not part of the organization are not allowed on the course race during the competition.
8 - The organization is not liable for loss and / or theft of personal belongings of the participant.
9 - Any personal information about entrants is for internal use of Running Portugal. It can however be communicated to the parties contractually bound with Running Portugal. It gives rise to a right of access and correction provided by law on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of data. By participating in the event you declare to agree that your photo, print, film or video etc.. possibly be used for promotional purposes of Running Portugal without claiming compensation.
All races here proposed, have in some way or another, the possibility of payment of fees online. However for groups who wish to register together it can do so by paying a registration fee by bank transfer. Just make us a request, a bank number will be mailed. Each event has its own web page from which one entries are processed, but the same registration can be made directly from the first registration web page proposed, without having any impact on the enrollment process.
The medical certificate is not requested in Portugal, However, we recommend that you undergo a medical examination by a doctor to provide you the possibility to practice the running in competition
The most important accessory for a runner is a good pair of well cushioned shoes. It does not need to be the most expensive. They must be just comfortable and well adjusted to your foot. We invite you to visit a sports shop specializing in your area to find shoes to fill!.
Start walking for a length of time that feels comfortableanywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. Once you can walk for 30 minutes easily, sprinkle 1- to 2-minute running sessions into your walking. As time goes on, make the running sessions longer, until you're running for 30 minutes straight
You can run anywhere that's safe and enjoyable. The best running routes are scenic, well lit, free of traffic, and well populated. Think of running as a way to explore new territory. Use your watch to gauge your distance, and set out on a new adventure on each run. Ask other runners about the best local routes.
