EDP Lisbon Marathon 2019

Registration must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

All registration are online. After creating your account (or after logging in to your profile wanago / Njuko), you'll just have to fill out a form and make a secure payment.

The race is open to all athletes, sport federation members and non members of Portuguese Athletics Federation or foreign nationality. In order to formalize your registration, you must enter the registration page and follow the instructions

Under no circumstance are you permitted to pass your entry onto someone else.

We cannot process name changes.

Participants of the Marathon or Half Marathon must be at least 18 years of age as of October 20, 2019 in order to participate.

We're sorry, but we are unable to offer refunds. As stated on the application, race fees are not refundable, nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, fees are used for event expenses and cannot be returned.

On presentation of an identification card and the official confirmation letter, bibs are to be collected at the event Expo:

  • Thursday, October 17, 10:00am to 8:00pm
  • ¬†Friday, October 18, 10:00am to 8:00pm
  • Saturday, October 19, 10:00am to 8:00pm
  • If you can't make it to number pick-up, you can send someone to pick it up for you. A photocopy of some form of I.D. (valid forms of ID include, driver's license, passport, etc.), for the absent runner along with a note granting permission for the race number and packet to be picked up must be presented in order to have someone else pick up your number.

    The event of EDP Lisbon marathon has 3 distances: Marathon is 6 hours of cut off time, half marathon and mini marathon is 3 hours

    Yes, The race course is duly marked and officials will be located along the route .

    If you feel that you will be unable to complete your distance and need to drop out, walk and look for a course volunteer for assistance.

    Yes, there is a free gear location in the starting area of the Marathon, in Cascais. You can drop a bag and pick it up after the race by presenting your bib number.
    The bags deposited must be those received from the organization with the withdrawal of the bib and on which you will have stuck the identification of your bib number.
    Do not leave valuable or irreplaceable items in your bag and avoid bringing objects that may fall. the Organization will not be responsible for lost or missing bags.

    *Qualified entrants for the 2019 Boston Marathon must have met the designated time standard that corresponds with their age group and gender in a certified marathon on or after September 16, 2017. Proof of qualification must accompany each athlete's application, and participants are required to be 18 years or older on Boston Marathon race day.

    The qualifying window for the 2020 Boston Marathon began on Saturday, September 15, 2018, and will continue through the conclusion of 2020 Boston Marathon registration next fall. Registration dates for the 2020 Boston Marathon will be announced next year. Please note that the new qualifying standards do apply to valid marathon times run at races between September 15, 2018 and this announcement.
