EDP Lisbon Marathon

 Start: 08:00 / Av. da República, Cascais

The marathon starts from Av. República, Cascais.
To get to the start line, participants can take public transport for free on presentation of the race bib.
The bus lines, Metro and train are at their disposal.
These transports are available from 6:15 am

Hyundai Half Marathon

 Start: 10:30 / Vasco da Gama Bridge

 Finish - Praça do Comércio, Lisboa

With over 15.000 runners.
Starting from the Vasco da Gama Bridge, finish is in Praça de Comércio together with the Lisbon Marathon.
The 21km course, takes the Hyundai Half Marathon runners from the north area of the city to downtown Lisbon, crossing emblematic historical monuments and river side views.

EDP 8 K

 Start: 10:30 / Vasco da Gama Bridge

 Finish - Alameda dos Oceanos

Starting together with the Hyundai Half Marathon, this distance allows its participants to have a beautiful view along the course.
The EDP 8K is very popular, with a short distance and a lot of animations and funny runners.
You may walk or run, up to you. Finish line is in the Parque das Nações.

Start of the Marathon

Transport to Cascais:
From the train station called Cais do Sodré in Lisbon, located near the Metro station of the same name, you have a train every 20 minutes.
Travel time, 40 minutes. Timetable
- The race day, departing from the train station of Cais do Sodré to Cascais.

Start of the Half Marathon

Only buses provided by the organization will allow you access to the START line. These buses are free of charge and leave from 07:30a.m. to 9:00 a.m. They will depart from the Avenida D. João II, between the "Gare do Oriente" train station and the Shopping Centre VASCO DA GAMA

Start of the EDP 8K

The same buses than for the half marathon provided by the organization will allow you access to the START line. From 07:30a.m. to 9:00 a.m. They will depart from the Avenida D. João II, between the "Gare do Oriente" train station and the Shopping Centre VASCO DA GAMA

To ensure that the streets will reopen to traffic in the hours, the time limit for the completion of the marathon is 06:00, Half and EDP 8K is 03:00.
This limit will be strictly respected. Participants must keep a pace that will respect the time limit for completion of your run or walk. The time limit starts when the last participant crosses the start line.

 Cancellations

Each entry is considered as non transferable and final and implies full acceptance of the rules.
No refund will be made whatever the reasons. No registration transfer will be allowed, whatever the reasons.

 Packets pickup

All registered participants have to collect their Race Bibs and Runners Swag Bag at the Sport Expo – Sports and Leisure Fair, which is located at the Parque das Nações, ( Seaside, Sala Tejo Altice Arena ) Lisboa.

Under no circumstances can race bibs be collected on the day of the race.
To collect the Race Number, runners must present an OFFICIAL ID WITH PHOTO along with the confirmation DOCUMENT THAT STATES YOUR RACE NUMBER.

If you are unable to come collect the race bib during the stated days, someone else can collect it for you, presenting a photocopy of your ID with the DOCUMENT THAT STATES YOUR RACE NUMBER. There is no race day pick up, even for emergencies so please plan ahead.

All online entries with valid email addresses will receive a confirmation listing their race number and pertinent race details.
